About me

Thanks for dropping by! My name is Josue and I’ve recently found the name Julian also reflects my personality and my Mestizaje (Spanish Ancestry and Indigenous Ancestry), feel free to call me by either Josue, Julian or both!

I’ve been fortunate enough to contribute to the field of applied psychology and human-computer interactions, and built research-based experiences for humans. This portfolio includes some of the projects I’m most proud of.

Aside from work, I’m passionate about getting to know people, being in nature, visiting Disneyland, and finding local eateries with great food. Meeting people and creating community around a common vision is also something important to me. In the last decade I have exited the religious fundamentalism I was raised within and value mental health and creating safe containers for people facing high adversity.

Another of my passions is reading. My friends say I’m a good listener and am a well rounded person. My co-workers say I’m a joy to have around.
